Network Security
 
All the systems are designed to maintain a quality of service throughout the network by prioritizing packets to maintain an order of precedence of services. Each network device is equipped to filter out DOS attacks.

We also offer intelligent, multilayer access control that can be utilized to protect the network from the impact of attacks while reducing the risk of inadvertently discarding legitimate traffic.

• Intrusion Detection & Dynamic Fire walling - To detect, analyze and react to threats of port scans, DOS, brute force attacks, HTTP DoS or DDo, and other hacker attempts in real-time.
   
• Daily Security Audits - security scripts run daily to look for signs of system intrusion or exploits which could threaten the health of your system.  If any anomalies are discovered, our technicians are alerted and can manually investigate to ensure your server is secure.
   
• Anti-spam / Virus Protection -  Realtime Blackhole List (RBL) filtering is configured for anti-spam protection on your server. The configuration, and combination of nearly 10 blacklists, is designed to maximize spam filtering while keep false positives to an absolute minimum.

Physical Security 

Datacenter access is strictly limited to technical staff. Electronic security systems control data center access and are accompanied by a full compliment of motion detecting security cameras which monitor the entire facility.

The DataCenter facility's external walls are reinforced poured concrete. It is a fully managed facility, which means there are level 3 technicians on site 24 hours per day, allowing incident response times to be kept to a minimum.

Mail Scanning for Viruses and SPAM

All of our hosting accounts feature Spam and Virus Protection to protect you and your customers from dangerous viruses and annoying spam.

• SpamAssassin^tm - is a mail filter to identify spam.  Using its rule base, it will perform a wide range of heuristic tests on mail headers and body text to identify spam. This will significantly reduce the number of spam emails you will receive.
   
• We provide tools you can use from within the cPanel which help you eliminate the unsolicited commercial email (spam) messages your email accounts receive.

Power Systems

The power systems feature extensive fault tolerance and resilience at every layer. Incoming service is routed underground to a dedicated on-site transformer. This system routes to our automatic transfer switch which monitors power quality, and automatically transfers to our emergency generators in the event they are needed.

Each facility is also protected by one or more uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), featuring redundant battery cabinets and full maintenance bypass cabinets allowing for service and upgrades without interruption of power to our servers.

Cooling System

Liebert Precision power distribution units handle final power transformation and distribution to racks, ensuring clean consistent power to data center equipment.

Each facility has multiple emergency generators waiting on standby, featuring over 24 hours of autonomous runtime before requiring refueling. Each generator is test run at least once a week to ensure they are ready in the event they are needed.

Generator power is activated automatically in the event of a utility failure by the transfer switch. The data center load is maintained by the UPS units with at least 15 minutes of capacity, however this is not necessary as the generator is active and up to speed within 10 seconds of a power failure.
